About me

Nice to meet you!

My name is Beatriz Sabater Serna and I was born in Alicante in 1994.

I studied the degree Multimedia Engineering in the University of Alicante between 2012 and 2017 and I've got the specialization in videogames.

I decided to specialize myself in UE4 progamming and VR when I did my end-of-degree project. When I had to choose the game engine for it I started to test UE4 and it was love at first sight.

I have been working in La Frontera VR for two years and a half. There I worked in VR and AR projects as UE4 programmer and project manager.

My Skills

PROGRAMMING

My main programming languages are C++ and Blueprints Visual Scripting UE. My strong points are logic programming, problem-solving and debugging.

UNREAL ENGINE

My mostly used Game Engine is Unreal Engine, being my expertise areas multiplayer, gameplay, scripting and UI. I have also worked with Unity and other minority engines, including an own-developed engine on OpenGL 4.0.

VR & AR

I have been working with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality for awhile. Since I heard about it, I have believed that it is the future of video games, and that is why I decided to do my final degree project oriented towards it.

AGILE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

At Extendra I worked under the Agile methodology Kanban. I was Product Owner and Team Lead in several projects, being part of my daily tasks organize the Kanban Board and coordinate the members of the team.

TEAM PLAYER

I love being part of a team. Part of my experience comes from having belonged for more than 7 years to the leadership of a youth association, holding various positions including president and treasurer. This experience improved my leadership and public speaking skills.

Los grandes pensadores de la historia han sido reunidos por una entidad suprema con el objetivo de enfrentarse entre ellos y lograr que sus ideas prevalezcan sobre las demás. Elige tu pensador, elige sus argumentos y prepárate para el combate. Solo puede quedar uno, el resto… serán descartados.
